Artist's Description
My son and daughter when they were small loved to play in this stone garden at Booth Park in Stratford CT. My wife and I when we were dating would come here. The organ cottage is behind the stone garden. As I was painting the picture, a lady came by and said the picture looked like a picture from a child's story book, like a picture out of a fairy tale. About Bruce Zboray
Welcome! I enjoy creating inspirational artwork. I've been given the gift of color, and the gift of drawing, for which I am very grateful. I was a software developer for over 40 years. Bruce - the lady was spot on. It's a lovely piece for a faerie tale in a child's book. Ever thought of doing that professionally if you aren't already? :D
Bruce Zboray replied:
Thank you Alanna. I do very much enjoy looking at children's books, especially older ones where the colors are vibrant. I need to give it more thought about illustrating them, thanks. The pictures on your site are pretty and come from the heart. Very nice.

Bruce, I agree, with the lady it is like a fairy tale. Your paintings are all like 'fairy tales'. What a nice story behind this painting. I like this painting as I do the story that inspired you to create it~Karen.
Bruce Zboray replied:
Karen, thank you. I enjoyed the subject matter you choose for your works on your site and how you handled them.
